Our Lean Vision is to the THE BEST in the PCB industry
| In addition to our Variation Reduction Initiative, Multek has implemented Lean manufacturing, also known as the Toyota Production System, TPS. Where VRI focuses primary on variation reduction, Lean’s objective is to reduce the waste in our operations. Lean is a philosophy that focuses on creating “value” through a culture of self-improvement and focus on reduction of waste. By mapping and understanding the Value Streams, we will be able to make them Valuable, Capable, Available, Adequate, Flexible, Flowing, Pulled and Leveled. |

|
Our Mission is to:
- Integrate the best concepts of Lean across all of our facilities
- Accelerate Operations through Lean Maturity Tracker Deployment
- Proliferate across all facilities recognized best practices to provide mediate operational benefits
- To attain industry-leading operation excellence and competitiveness
- Use Shingijutsu to propel Multek with the right concepts and methods
The goal is to "Double The Good & Halve The Bad With Double The Speed" focusing on quality, flexibility, innovation and total cost. Multek's leadership team is fully committed to supporting employees in their Lean transformation journey and it is Multek's objective to have everyone trained. All GMs/VPs for each site have been through two full days of Lean Executive training. In addition, key members from each site have attended a full week of Shingijitsu training. These trainings have created Lean thinkers that are always looking for opportunities to improve the current system, and challenging anything they feel does not add value to the products that we ship to our valued customers.
